​Penn South Social Services contracts with the Jewish Association Serving the Aging (JASA), one of the most prestigious agencies assisting older adults in New York, to administer PSPS.​


May-Ling Agosto
Administrative Assistant

Born and raised in NYC, May-Ling hails from Temple Shaaray Tefila, where she served its community in many capacities for more than twenty-five years. She enjoys sharing with members, working with several committees, and assisting trustees and the clergy. She especially enjoys collaborating with SAGE which she considered the most vibrant affinity group she had the pleasure of serving—until she accepted the Administrative Assistant seat at PSPS, that is! Wife, mother, and grandmother, May-Ling enjoys being the gateway at PSPS and caring for all who seek its services.

Chris Diaz
Social Work Supervisor

Chris Diaz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with thirty years of experience in Aging, Homeless Services, and Domestic Violence. Chris supervises a staff of three social workers who provide services to older adults to enable them to safely "age in place." Chris is a graduate of Silberman School of Social Work and has been working with PSPS to service the Penn South senior community for ten years.

Dana Evans
NORC Nurse

Dana is one of the nurses at Penn South Program for Seniors' NORC Program. In addition to Nursing, Dana holds a Bachelor's Degree in Change Management and a Master's in Public Health. She had over twenty years of experience in every aspect of Home Care and Community Health. Dana has found her niche collaborating with the PSPS team to achieve one goal: the healthiest outcome for each client.

Veronica Farje
Social Worker

Veronica is a Social Worker at JASA/Penn South Program for Seniors and a recent graduate from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. She has experience in advocacy, fundraising, and program development and has worked as a massage therapist and strength rehabilitation specialist. Veronica is a native New Yorker who enjoys exploring our everchanging, vibrant city.

Justin Greene
Group Services & Volunteer Coordinator
 Justin Greene was born and raised in Queens, graduating from Springfield College, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Graphics. Over the years working with the Penn South community, he has grown to love and appreciate social services. Justin takes pride and loves assisting and helping others. His interests include technology, basketball, and Hip Hop.

Kerry Kelley

Kerry Kelley
NORC Nurse
Kerry Kelley has demonstrated a passion for health care throughout her career as a manager, educator, and clinical leader. During the past four decades, Kerry Kelley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, a degree in respiratory therapy, and credentials in Sleep Medicine. She has an extensive health care background, having worked in medical facility operations, home health & community health care management, and long-term care. She was instrumental in developing a robust sleep program committed to patient education and community outreach. Eager to educate the public on various health issues, Kerry lectures on multiple health care issues, enthusiastically sharing her knowledge with others. As a Nurse Educator, she developed a Polysomnographic Training program profiled in a national sleep publication.

Maria Orraca
Group Services & Volunteer Supervisor
Marie has a non-profit background with a focus on programming. She comes to PSPS from The Conference Board, where she oversaw their Corporate Citizenship Councils; prior to that, Marie managed programs for The New York Society for Ethical Culture, where she worked with organizations including Doctors Without Borders.

Lisa Rubin is a NORC Nurse at PSPS who is pleased to maintain an ongoing professional role in the Penn South community during the COVID pandemic. Lisa has been pursuing community health for over twenty years, including working as an NYU Clinical Instructor, a Homecare Field Supervisor, and has been a NORC Nurse with PSSS since 2013. Lisa also works as a NORC Nurse for JASA at Riverton Square in Central Harlem. Her interests include healthy aging and supporting younger generations of nurses in their professional development. ​

Ann Marie Thomas
Clerical Assistant
Ann Marie Thomas was born in London, England, and immigrated to the United States in 1971. After finishing high school, Ann Marie worked for United Cerebral Palsy for many years before moving to JASA in 1998 to work for the Brighton Beach Senior Center. Ann Marie joined the PSPS team in early 2022.

Leydi Toribio
Case Manager, Club Connect
Leydi Toribio is a graduate of CUNY's Baruch College, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communication and minored in Graphic Design. Leydi appreciates the number of resources and activities PSPS has to offer the community, and she is thrilled to be a part of it as the Program Assistant of the dementia program, Club Connect. In her free time, Leydi enjoys volunteering to walk dogs at her local dog shelter, is a fan of true crime podcasts, and is an even bigger fan of the Mets!
