Meet the PSPS Staff

Penn South Social Services contracts with the Jewish Association Serving the Aging (JASA), one of the most prestigious agencies assisting older adults in New York, to administer PSPS.​

Our staff includes social workers, nurses, activity specialists, and part-time instructors with wide-ranging expertise.

  • May-Ling Agosto

    Group Services Coordinator

    Born and raised in NYC, May-Ling hails from Temple Shaaray Tefila, where she served its community in many capacities for more than twenty-five years.

    She enjoys sharing with members, working with several committees, and assisting trustees and the clergy. She especially enjoys collaborating with SAGE which she considered the most vibrant affinity group she had the pleasure of serving—until she accepted the Administrative Assistant seat at PSPS, that is!

    Wife, mother, and grandmother, May-Ling enjoys being the gateway at PSPS and caring for all who seek its services.

  • Randi Bragg, LMSW

    Program Director of Club Connect

    Randi Bragg graduated from Stony Brook University with her MSW in 2021.

    Randi started working as a temp social worker at PSPS in April 2022. Randi was hired as the Program Director of Club Connect in January of 2023.

  • Bintou Dao Konate, BS

    Case Manager

    Born and raised in the Ivory Coast (West Africa).

    Graduated from The Lehman College with a Bachelor of Arts, and a minor in Gerontology and an undergraduate degree in Human Services.

    Bintou has a passion for helping others and this passion has driven her to a career as a Case Manager at the Penn South Program For the Seniors.

    Throughout her career, Bintou worked with individuals facing a variety of challenges including homelessness, gun violence and substance abuse.

    Bintou is dedicated to the cooperators and ensures that all receive the highest level of support.

    Bintou works tirelessly to help other overcome their obstacles and achieve their goals.

  • Chris Diaz, LCSW

    Social Work Supervisor

    Chris Diaz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with thirty years of experience in Aging, Homeless Services, and Domestic Violence.

    Chris supervises a staff of three social workers who provide services to older adults to enable them to safely "age in place."

    Chris is a graduate of Silberman School of Social Work and has been working with PSPS to service the Penn South senior community for ten years.

  • Dana Evans, RN

    NORC Nurse

    Dana is one of the nurses at Penn South Program for Seniors' NORC Program.

    In addition to Nursing, Dana holds a Bachelors Degree in Change Management and a Masters in Public Health. She has over 20 years of experience in every aspect of Home Care and Community Health.

    Dana has found her niche collaborating with the PSPS team to achieve one goal: the healthiest outcome for each client.

  • Ahuva Levi, MSW

    Social Worker

    Ahuva grew up in Toronto Canada. She received her Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from York University in Toronto and her MSW from Yeshiva University Wurzweiler School of Social Work in New York.

    Previously Ahuva completed an internship working with older adults at Better Living Health and Community Services in Toronto Canada.

    At Better Living, Ahuva assisted her client’s with their case management and service coordination needs as well as co-facilitating a caregiver support group, providing wellness check calls to client’s, and staffing the agencies senior support hotline.

    Ahuva enjoys working with older adults and is passionate about assisting her client’s to obtain the services and supports needed to reside safely and successfully at home.

  • Christine Mazza, MSW

    Group Services & Volunteers Supervisor

    Christine Mazza graduated with her MSW from Hunter College in 2020.

    She is a Long Island native and she enjoys spending time with family/friends, traveling, trying new restaurants, and exploring NYC. Some fun facts about Christine are that she is a twin and her favorite season is Autumn.

    Christine has a passion for the older adult population and has significant experience working in numerous settings with this population. She is very eager to reduce social isolation.

  • Lonnie (Elana) Rubin, MSW

    Social Worker

    Lonnie Rubin hails from West Orange, New Jersey.

    She recently graduated from Touro College with her MSW in 2023.

    Lonnie has previously worked at the Marlene Meyerson JCC working with Older adults and serving their needs in the community.

    Lonnie has always had a passion connecting and supporting older adults as they age in place.

  • Lisa Rubin, RN MA

    NORC Nurse

    Lisa Rubin is a NORC nurse at Penn South Program for Seniors who maintained a professional role during the COVID pandemic. She has pursued community health for over 20 years.

    Lisa has worked as an NYU Clinical Instructor, a Homecare Field Supervisor, and has been a NORC Nurse with PSSS since 2013.

    Lisa also works as a NORC Nurse for JASA at Riverton Square in Central Harlem.

    Her interests include healthy aging and supporting younger generations of nurses in their professional development.

  • Ann Marie Thomas

    Clerical Assistant

    Ann Marie Thomas was born in London, England, and immigrated to the United States in 1971.

    After finishing high school, Ann Marie worked for United Cerebral Palsy for many years before moving to JASA in 1998 to work for the Brighton Beach Senior Center.

    Ann Marie joined the PSPS team in early 2022.

Volunteer Opportunities

A dedicated corps of volunteers from the Penn South community supports the program to make the extraordinary variety of services possible.

PSPS invites the experience and talents of everyone living in Penn South to enhance our community.
